I read this book in one day, that’s how much I enjoyed it. I’ve had it sitting on my tbr shelf for quite a while and finally thought I’d give it a go. I’m sorry I waited so long to read it! It was very good and made for quick entertaining reading. At times funny, sad and heartwrenching it’s just the kind of heartwarming romance that I love. I really believed in Ryan and Suzanne’s love and conflicts right from the beginning, and fully believed how they could fall apart and get back together the way they did. Going through something so completely tragic and horrific as a still birth could put any marriage on the rocks even while the couple is still deeply in love! I thought the author handled that particular subject matter quite well without beating us over the head with it ad naseum through character angst. It was very realistic.
I did think that the interfering fiance Henry was a bit over the top towards the end, but it didn’t ruin the story for me by any means. I can’t wait to pick up Marie Force’s second book next time I’m at the bookstore.
